Summer Intern - Systems Engineering, Hague Road Technical Center – Indianapolis, Indiana Join Allegion as a Systems Engineering intern and make a direct impact on real products. Embedded within the Product Lifecycle Engineering organization, you’ll work on solutions that will enable seamless access and help keep you and your loved ones safe and secure where they work, live and thrive. What You Will Do
Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system requirements, interface definitions, and system block diagrams Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of system components and assemblies Participate in design peer reviews and present findings to cross-functional teams Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion Collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver well-rounded, system-level solutions What You Need to Succeed: Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative, e.g., school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc. Comfortable with hands-on lab work and problem solving Ability to work in both a team and individual setting Effective communication, time management, and creative problem-solving techniques Sophomore year must be completed by the start of the summer internship program for undergraduate candidates A desire to learn, grow, and develop by working on projects that will impact customers Why Work for Us?
