Title and Summary Manager, Strategy Pricing & Interchange Overview • Do you want to define the economics of card payments in Eastern Europe, Middle East Africa? • The Pricing & Interchange team is responsible for managing and defining the economic flows between the different players in the payment ecosystem. • The main goal of the team is to use the interchange and pricing levers to help drive secular shift and strengthen P&L resilience • As part of the team you will work together and gain exposure to key stakeholders across the organization, from country managers and acceptance teams to product and finance teams. Role • Identifies and runs analysis to assess impact and attractiveness of potential interchange and pricing initiatives at country and product level • Assesses competitive position at product, customer and country level • Identifies best practices in interchange and pricing • Participates actively in strategy, acceptance and competitive economics projects • Prepares presentations for management • Manages the interchange and pricing initiatives cycle to ensure correct communication and implementation All about you • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills • Proven outstanding modelling skills in Excel and PowerPoint leveraging AI when appropriate • Strong strategic and conceptual mindset • Autonomy, reliability and accountability • Proactivity, curiosity to learn and eagerness to crack complex topics • Creativity to identify new approaches Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
