Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support Advanced Programs in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. Roles and Responsibilities Coordinate with business management and project management staff to develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program. Perform Schedule risk analyses and work with the program manager to resolve risky schedules, critical path issues, and network logic conflicts. Prepares and submits IPMDAR artifacts with cost analyst Perform thorough project analysis through metrics reviews and predictive analysis to enhance cost, schedule, and technical performance. Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Participate in month-end Earned Value reporting close activities.
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Business, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 3 year; or 9 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree Must be a US Citizen with an active in-scope U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (obtained or renewed within the last 6 years and able to obtain Special Access Program-SAP) Requires 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule Requires experience in project management/ execution and closeout Requires experience planning,
