Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman is in need of a well experienced Structural Engineer to work with its Propulsion Systems & Control (PS&C) unit. The structural analyst is desired for part-time consulting services on an as-needed basis.  The duties of the position entail consultation on structural and materials issues, participation in analysis and design reviews, and possible support for customer technical meetings. This position will support programs in rocket propulsion.

Basic qualifications

At least 15 years of experience plus a bachelors degree or higher in a STEM field. Extensive background in rocket propulsion structural analysis is required, with particular emphasis on rocket nozzle material response under extreme thermal environments.  Primary Level Salary Range: $1.00 - $2.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
