The candidate in this role will mentor and lead all levels of personnel responsible for developing Visual Work Instructions (VWIs).  The candidate will also assist in analyzing digital design data and utilize these products in conjunction with build plans to create quality and accurate VWIs. Interprets and adds design elements and portions of systems for VWIs to meet manufacturing and installation requirements. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, Teamcenter, NX, SAP, NGP and TDP. Incorporates required changes as applicable. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.  The candidate will makes decisions that directly impact departmental goals and business operations. They will also coordinate with other organizations in the value stream to meet program objectives.  Along with performing all other duties as assigned.   As engineering design organizations continue transitioning toward model-based engineering, digital workflows, and high complexity CAD/PLM ecosystems, the need for structured, standardized, and strategically governed visual instruction is rapidly increasing. While individual Visual Instructor Operators (VIOs) provide essential workflow level guidance, the absence of a centralized leadership role results in inconsistent training materials, uneven adoption across teams, and inefficient coordination with system owners. The Visual Instructor Operator Manager (VIOM) provides the operational leadership necessary to govern the creation, quality, distribution, and lifecycle management of visual instruction across the entire design organization. This role ensures alignment with engineering standards, promotes consistency across all design groups, and accelerates tool adoption while reducing design errors and rework.   Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and a minimum of 6 years of applicable, progressive professional, exempt and/or supervisory work experience; Master's degree and 4 years relevant, exempt experience.

One of the following may be used as equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:

NNS Apprentice School graduate Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate Associate's Degree or
