Facilities Specialist The Opportunity: As a facilities professional, you understand that relationship‑building and keen attention to detail is cru cia l when overseeing the lifecycle of engineering and infrastructure projects. That’s why we need you—an experience d facilities professional who can help ensure success through careful analysis, compliance evaluation, and effective communication. On our team, you’ll help manage and support challenging engineering and design‑focused projects for critical Marine Corps missions from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. Specifically, you’ll perform multi‑discipline engineering technical reviews of facility design submissions for compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria ( UFC ) , draft pre‑decisional project documentation packages, including DD Form 1391s, and develop technical cost models that support FSRM, MILCON, and UMMC project planning. You’ll also support development of compliant Architectural and Engineering ( AE ) Services Statements and Design‑Build or Design‑Bid‑Build RFP materials for government review and approval. In this role, you’ll closely impact installation management by validating design assumptions, analyzing field conditions, coordinating with installation stakeholders, and ensuring proposed solutions align with government requirements. By supporting the systems, documentation, reviews, and processes that underpin engineering and design oversight, you will help keep critical infrastructure projects on track and compliant. You Have: Experience performing multi‑discipline engineering technical reviews of design submissions for compliance with UFC or other design criteria Experience drafting technical project documentation packages, such as DD Form 1391s, cost models, and justification materials Knowledge of UFC criteria, facility engineering practices, or military construction development processes Ability to interpret technical design submissions, field conditions, and compliance requirements and synthesize them into structured assessments Ability to coordinate with installation‑level stakeholders to support documentation, scoping, design reviews, or requirements validation Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture and 10+ years of experience supporting installation or facility lifecycle management, infrastructure engineering, or mission‑support initiatives, or Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience supporting installation or facility lifecycle management, infrastructure engineering, or mission‑support initiatives Professional Engineer ( PE ) or Registered Architect ( RA ) Certification Nice If You Have: Experience supporting MCIPAC, NAVFAC, or other DoD installation engineering or management organizations Experience developing or contributing to engineering analysis supporting FSRM, MILCON, or UMMC project planning Experience developing SAES, Design‑Build or Design‑Bid‑Build RFP materials, or pre‑decisional project justification packages Knowledge of MILCON or FSRM cost estimation practices, engineering review workflows, or UFC 3‑730‑01 standards Ability to use AutoCAD, BUILDER SMS, GIS, PAX, or similar facility or asset management systems Master’s degree in Engineering or Architecture Engineering or Facilities Certification such as PMP or CFM Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.
