Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and improve smart manufacturing and process control solutions. Design and sustain SPC, FDC, APC, and Run-to-Run (R2R) control systems to reduce process variation and improve manufacturing performance. Perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and process characterization to identify opportunities for process improvement. Develop monitoring strategies, control limits, dashboards, OCAPs, and automated responses for process excursions. Apply machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics techniques to solve manufacturing challenges. Evaluate and integrate IIoT technologies, sensors, and automation solutions for manufacturing applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data collection, system integration, and process control requirements. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities using statistical and engineering methodologies. Develop technical documentation, standards, training materials, and best practices. Support network-wide deployment and standardization of process control solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, equipment engineering, or advanced packaging technology. Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Fault Detection & Classification (FDC), Advanced Process Control (APC), and Run-to-Run (R2R) methodologies. Experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, and problem-solving techniques. Familiarity with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science concepts. Knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), manufacturing automation, and sensor technologies is preferred. Programming experience in Python, SQL, R, or similar data analytics tools. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated team player with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Willingness to travel internationally, as required. About Micron Technology, Inc.
