DESCRIPTION: As an Inventory Coordinator II, you'll contribute to global healthcare, research, and safety at Thermo Fisher Scientific. You'll manage sophisticated inventory systems and ensure seamless laboratory operations, handling materials that support cancer research, environmental protection, and food safety initiatives. This position offers experience with advanced inventory management systems and opportunities to implement process improvements that support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you'll manage inventory operations including receiving, tracking, and distributing materials while maintaining precise documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, resolve discrepancies, and implement best practices for material handling and storage. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential in maintaining our high standards for quality and customer service. Responsibilities
Applies Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of responsibility. Maintain warehouse under good manufacturing process. Engage in daily management Gemba walks, tier meetings, 5s, Practical Process Improvement on a daily basis. Demonstrates and promotes the company vision (4 I’s). Follows all Fisher Clinical Service (FCS) Standard Operating Procedures. Willingness to learn and understand the goals of the department. Assist other team members with fulfilling all internal requests. Ensures that inventory is stored properly and safely. Maintains warehouse for Safety, Neatness and Organization. Stock warehouse areas with necessary items needed for On-Time-Job-Finish for production rooms by utilizing A First in First out (FIFO) system. Locate Inventory in appropriate storage locations. (i.e. Cold chain, Staging and controlled etc.) Perform Cycle Counts to maintain inventory accuracy, assist other departments with inventory movements and run inventory reports for stock put-away. Other duties as required by management. Able to work overtime when needed to accomplish customer needs. Process receipts, stage materials, utilize sample drug weigh room for splits and weight verifications. Review replenishment reports to include, transfer and inbound reports for support of put away processes associated with distribution protocols. Replenish of distribution protocols in forward pick zones to include movement of stagnant protocols for long term storage. Put away cancelled distribution orders, this process includes cycle count prior to put away to insure inventory accuracy. Identifies discrepancies as they
