Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our team located in Marlborough, MA integrates hardware and software, develops test plans and procedures, debugs and evaluates system functions and interfaces, and verifies system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts. You will support elements of program development, engineering testing, integration, flight-testing, production, system deployment, and/or post deployment support across the product lifecycle. This position is an onsite role in Marlborough, MA . Test event support activity may require travel which is not expected to exceed 20%.
What You Will Do
Support engineering activities related to testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment System integration and test support, possibly including live fire test events Support activity may require travel Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB Support qualification of our products Sustainment/Depot returns and repair Maintain engineering specifications (DS, ARD, etc.) & drawing (Schematics & Assembly Drawings) Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders Maintain engineering databases Participate in periodic team meetings, interface teleconference meetings, working group meetings Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s of Science degree in a STEM field Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.) Qualifications We Prefer: Strong undergraduate level understanding of electrical, mechanical and/or software system integration, familiarity
