Job Function: Human Resources Job Sub Function: HR Operations Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Director, HR Digital Experience, located in Pune, Maharashtra. The Director, HR Digital Experience provides strategic and operational leadership for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital HR experiences at DePuy Synthes. This role is responsible for shaping a seamless, user‑centric HR digital ecosystem that enhances employee experience, enables efficiency, and supports scalable global operations. The position plays a critical role in driving digital transformation across HR, improving adoption of HR technologies, and ensuring alignment between people processes, technology, and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the HR digital experience strategy, ensuring alignment with HR, IT, and business objectives . Oversee the design and optimization of employee and manager digital touchpoints across HR platforms. Drive adoption, usability, and continuous improvement of HR systems and digital tools. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, IT, and global stakeholders to translate business needs into digital solutions. Establish governance, standards, and metrics for HR digital experience and service performance. Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation and process simplification. Manage vendors and technology partners to ensure delivery quality, value, and compliance. Build, develop, and lead high‑performing teams focused on HR digital experience and operations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required . Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Experience and Skills: Required: Typically 10-12 years of progressive experience in HR technology, digital transformation, HR operations, or related leadership roles. Demonstrated experience leading enterprise‑scale HR digital or technology initiatives. Strong understanding of HR processes, employee experience, and digital service design. Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders in a matrixed, global organization. Strong analytical, operational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and change‑management capabilities. Preferred: Experience supporting global HR platforms , specifically Workday HCM, and shared services models. Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences. Experience leading automation, digital adoption, or HR experience transformation initiatives. Familiarity with HR systems, analytics, and service management frameworks. Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures. Other : Languages: English proficiency is required . Travel: Up to 20–30% domestic or international travel. Certifications: HR technology, digital transformation, Agile, or project management
