Job Description • Works under general direction. • Programs and applies a broad range of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) database, and spreadsheet software for GIS design, mapping and analysis. • Independently contributes to the design of databases or development of geodatabases and systems, as well as compiles and analyzes GIS data. • May evaluate commercial GIS applications, as well as design and develop GIS applications for internal use and for client deliverables. • Independently performs most assignments with instruction as to the general results expected. • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field Minimum 12 years of professional GIS experience Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting major rail, metro, or infrastructure projects Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS and spatial database management Demonstrated expertise in mapping and geospatial analysis Exceptional analytical and technical reporting capabilities Proven ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders Demonstrated experience integrating GIS data with Building Information Modeling (BIM), engineering systems, and asset management platforms Advanced competency in geospatial data integration and systems architecture Additional Information At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
