Organizational Overview: This role is part of the Identity and Access Management Security team and will be helping build security solutions to secure privilege users. This role will report to our VP, Privileged Access Monitoring Leader, Role Summary/Purpose: Member of HPA monitoring team responsible for monitoring activity of privileged accounts within the Synchrony environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to convey data in a meaningful and concise manner Develop dashboards/metrics to present monitoring results to IT leadership team Work with IT stakeholders to review results of IT monitoring and identify gaps Perform root cause analysis for identified gaps and determine solutions to address gaps Track any corrective action plans generated during IT monitoring Review new/existing HPA access Investigate and respond to HPA Alerts Track HPA violations Maintain documentation Perform certifications for HPA users Required Skills & Knowledge: Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 5 years of relevant IT work experience, or in lieu of a degree up to 7 years of relevant IT work experience. 2 to 5 years of Experience in using Splunk. Minimum 3 years combined successful work experience as a system development MS Office skills: Strong Excel, PowerPoint Ability to work independently and in a team environment Programmatic thinking Self-motivated; ability to multi-task with strong analytical skills Strong oral and written communication skills. Desired Characteristics: Previous work experience in a regulated environment programmer/analyst working across multiple IT/cross-functional team. Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 5 years of relevant IT work experience, or in lieu of a degree up to 7 years of relevant IT work experience. Work Timings: 4:00 AM to 1:00PM EST This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose.
