About your team The Global Cyber Operations team delivers cyber defence capabilities to protect Fidelity’s systems, data and clients. The team operates across regions to identify, investigate and respond to cyber risks while continuously improving security controls and operational effectiveness. Insider Risk and Data Loss Prevention is a core capability within Global Cyber Operations, responsible for identifying and preventing data loss, defining and monitoring insider risk behaviours, and supporting sensitive investigations. The team operates globally across the UK, India and Hong Kong, with service provider support. About your role As Insider Risk Manager, you will lead the global Insider Risk and Data Loss Prevention capability. You will be accountable for service stability, operational delivery, control improvement and the continued development of the Insider Risk strategy. You will act as Product Owner for Insider Risk and DLP within the Product Centric Delivery Model, owning the roadmap, backlog, priorities, budget, vendor engagement and delivery outcomes across run-the-business and change-the-business activity. You will work with the assigned Capability Architect to mature the function and ensure the strategy is aligned to business risk, regulatory expectations and operational need. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be expected to understand the tooling, detections, workflows and evidence standards, while also leading the team, managing stakeholders and representing the function in audit and control reviews. The role owns the cyber control capability and escalation framework.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the global Insider Risk and DLP team, ensuring stable operations, clear accountability and consistent delivery across regions. Own the Insider Risk and DLP strategy, operating model, roadmap and service improvement plan. Act as Product Owner within the Product Centric Delivery Model, including backlog ownership, prioritisation, budget management and delivery planning. Define, monitor and improve insider risk and data loss behaviours across email, endpoint, cloud, collaboration, web and other relevant channels. Own case handling standards, including triage, investigation quality, evidence requirements, escalation routes, closure criteria and quality assurance. Improve detection capability and reduce noise through tuning, automation, exception management, alert enrichment and policy refinement. Drive the controlled introduction of AI and context-driven investigation capabilities to improve analyst efficiency and investigation quality. Oversee the performance and integration of key platforms, including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Proofpoint Adaptive Controls and Data Loss, and ServiceNow DLP. Represent Insider Risk and DLP in audit, control reviews, risk forums and governance discussions. Build trusted working relationships with HR, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Information Security Officers and relevant business stakeholders.
