About this role

As a Capital Markets Analyst, you'll play a critical role in helping publicly traded companies better understand their shareholder base, engage with the investment community, and develop data-driven investor relations strategies. Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and interpret ownership data from multiple sources to identify shareholder positions, peer benchmarks, and market trends, delivering accurate and timely reports to clients. Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building trusted relationships and ensuring service is aligned with each client's investor relations needs. Conduct regular client outreach to share market developments, sector updates, and strategic insights that support client preparedness and long-term competitiveness. Develop presentation materials and support senior team members in client meetings, contributing to relationship development and client retention. Collaborate with global colleagues and internal partners to share knowledge, align on best practices, and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 1–3 years of experience in capital markets, investor relations, financial services, or a comparable client-facing role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with data tools and models in a fast-moving environment. Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with clients, including senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with investor relations teams or publicly traded companies. Familiarity with shareholder analysis, buy-side research, or equity capital markets. Exposure to global teams and cross-border collaboration. This position will be located in   Chicago   and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. The base pay range for this role is $66,000 - $112,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
