Join Raytheon Technologies (RTX) as a Senior. Principal Platform Lead and take on a pivotal role in leading a multi-faceted infrastructure team that supports our project modernization initiatives. You will lead a team of 10-15 Platform/Hardware Engineers, working on program development and sustainment activities in a COTS-based compute environment. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will contribute to the technical success of the team while overseeing their performance, career development, and alignment with organizational goals. Lead and manage a team of 10-15 Platform/Hardware Engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance feedback Oversee program development and sustainment activities in a Linux and Windows-based COTS compute environment Coordinate team staffing, training, and development to meet organizational and program needs Support the deployment and installation of complex systems at both CONUS and OCONUS sites, including Linux and Windows systems administration, network design, and COTS assembly and integration Monitor and report on program cost, schedule, and performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations Provide technical guidance to team members and facilitate communication between the program and Functional Engineering Leadership teams Collaborate with program managers to ensure customer satisfaction with delivered products and services Participate in proposal development, including creating and reviewing cost estimates and Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and presenting to senior leadership Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and organizational policies, including ASME Standards, IEEE Specifications, and IPC Standards   Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of related work experience Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe Experience with program cost and schedule monitoring and reporting Experience with the deployment and installation of complex systems Experience with ASME Standards, IEEE Specifications, IPC
