Job Description

The Indigenous Banking Group (IBG) is TD’s specialized financial services team within Business Banking that supports Indigenous Peoples, businesses, organizations and communities through long-term relationships, tailored financial solutions, and a One TD approach. As an IBG Associate, you’ll support Regional Managers and internal partners by coordinating client activities, preparing materials, tracking opportunities, and helping deliver a consistent, respectful client experience.

(IBG) •Supports economic reconciliation by enabling equitable access to financial services and capital for Indigenous communities and businesses. •Acts as a centre of expertise for Indigenous community insights, lending structures, and relationship practices (including on-reserve considerations). •Works closely with partners across TD (Commercial, Wealth/Indigenous Trust Services, Canadian Personal Banking, TD Securities, Risk/CCRM, and others) to deliver integrated solutions. •As a specialized financial services Team organized in TD Canadian Business Banking and representing TD Bank Group, the IBG provides financial solutions across a broad range of products and services that allows us to meet the needs of our clients in every sector, providing customized solutions to build a strategy that’s right for them now, and in the future. •Our quest is to deliver a first-class financial services client experience and to be "the Bank of Choice for Indigenous Peoples”. Our Team of better business bankers have a strong background in business and finance as well as the specific products they are responsible for selling and service. They have keen insight into all their clients – their industry, products, finances and markets. Job Description •This is an exciting introductory experience in the interesting, vital and specialized area of Commercial Banking. •You will further learn and expand the fundamentals of commercial lending through financial analysis, risk management and industry analysis. This will give you the ability to work closely with a variety of Indigenous organizations, mid-market businesses, Communities and Peoples as they strive to successfully meet their respective financial goals. Your skills will be put to the test in creating financial services proposals based on the diverse credit, deposits and cash management needs of your clients. Accountabilities •Support IBG Regional Manager(s) with day-to-day portfolio, prospect, and pipeline activities (e.g., meeting coordination, follow-ups, and opportunity tracking in CRM/BB Hub). •Prepare client and community meeting materials (agendas, briefing notes, call plans, pitch decks, and term sheet drafts) in partnership with deal teams and credit partners. •Coordinate internal partner engagement to deliver One TD solutions (e.g., CPB, Wealth/Indigenous Trust Services, TD Equipment Financing, TD Securities, ESG/Ready Commitment, and others as applicable). •Assist with onboarding and servicing activities, including documentation collection, account opening support (where applicable), and issue
