THE WORK Position Overview Join the Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) Engineering Processes Tools & Training team and work alongside industry‑leading experts on mission critical projects. In this role you’ll help design, deploy, and sustain cutting‑edge engineering tools that operate in secure, air‑gapped networks for our customers.

Tool Deployment:  Install, configure, and validate engineering software tools for use in air‑gapped environments, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards. Tool Sustainment: Provide ongoing support for the engineering software tools, resolve issues, and implement enhancements.  1LMX Alignment: Provide support for the 1LMX adoption, collaborating closely with factory partners to resolve issues and implement enhancements. Customer Collaboration:  Partner with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver training, and facilitate successful tool adoption. Documentation & Reporting:  Produce clear, detailed documentation—including deployment guides, SOPs, and status reports—to maintain knowledge continuity. Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve tool reliability, and incorporate emerging technologies into our air‑gapped solutions.   What You’ll Gain Direct exposure to advanced engineering tools used in highly secure environments. Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in engineering tool administration/management. Proven track record of delivering high quality customer service and support relationships. Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Windows system administration. Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar). Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of translating technical details for diverse audiences. Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving capabilities for complex technical issues. Experience in creating clear documentation, SOPs, deployment guides, and reports. Desired Skills
