Join the Naval Power (NP) Finance team as a Finance Growth and Program Excellence analyst. Work closely with Finance Growth & Program Excellence Lead, NP CFO & leadership team to drive financial excellence and best practices across new business capture, start up, and program cost control.
What You Will Do
Provide focused program controls and capture best practice leadership to help business navigate unprecedented growth. ~$50B+ bookings opportunity over the next 3-12 months from the signed Munitions Acceleration (MA) Contract framework deals for Tomahawk (awarded), Standard Missile 6, Standard Missile 3 IIA, and Standard Missile 3 IB. Annual sales growth of 50% to over $10B+ over the next 2-3 years with realization of MA awards. Support centralized elements of MA program capture and startup. Support NP program controls assessment & best practice improvement project; promote a culture of rapid learning and continuous improvement including additional automation and ensuring use of standard tools and practices. Support NP finance program startup community of practice as an SMEs, performing Independent Reviews, partnering with ProStart and Program Management Excellence (PMX) to drive adoption of common financial structures within Naval Power, where appropriate. Support improved hand-offs of key financial items from capture to program startup. Partner with Product Line finance teams, PMX and Business Process Management to develop “common playbooks” for different program personas (EVMS light vs full EVMS, production vs development, etc.). Opportunity to expand network across a variety of program teams, including DOD, FMS, DCS programs and other Raytheon Product Lines. Occasional travel between Massachusetts, Arizona, and Texas will be required Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, and 8 years applicable work experience in Financial Management/Leadership; OR an advanced degree and 5 years of applicable work experience in Financial Management//Leadership. Financial controls or Financial Planning experience. In-depth knowledge and experience with SAP, BW, PRISM, APEX EV, PM Tools or an applicable financial system. Experience synthesizing data sets and summarizing for leadership review. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
