Position
Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, Office of Dean of Students - Boca Raton, FL. Responsible to the Assistant Dean of Students. This is a highly administrative position in which the staff member will assist Case Management areas with completing tasks related to the administering of basic needs for students, and the daily operations of the Dean of Students' office. In addition, this position will assist with the case management of students who may be experiencing one or more concerns related to their social, psychological, and/or academic well-being, offering educational outreach. Summary of Responsibilities: Assist with the intake and triage of walk-in, phone, and email students. Purchasing and reconciliation for grant and foundation fund distribution. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of accurate and compliant records related to case management and grant administration. Manage a caseload including initial intake, charting of student concerns, referrals, and progress to appropriate basic need resources. Manage the Beyond Food Pantry program, including but not limited to process improvement, developing partnerships, and coordinating distribution processes with interns and student workers. Assist with front desk tasks and act as backup for admin staff. Support programs, events, and traditions for the wider university campus(es), as needed. Assist with Orientation events and presentations for prospective and incoming students. May serve on departmental or divisional committees. Designated as an Essential Personnel and will be responsible for assisting with emergency operations, as needed. Performs other job-related duties as assigned to further the mission and Strategic goals of Florida Atlantic University, the Division of Student Affairs, and the Dean of Students Office.
