They will participate in tax research, audits, and other department projects. This is a full-time position with an option for Hybrid work upon completion of requisite training. Successful applicant could be based in Englewood, CO.
Position
Responsibilities: · Prepare and file U.S. and Canadian sales, excise, and other transaction tax returns · Prepare tax working papers and reconciliations and investigate discrepancies · Provide tax and audit support to Core-Mark’s warehouses in the US and Canada · Prepare and submit tax payment requests · Conduct tax research as required, prepare appropriate documentation · Develop and maintain strong working relationships with warehouse and corporate personnel · Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement, data management opportunities and other efficiencies · Participate in Tax Department projects, as assigned · Potential for travel – within Canada and US #CM-All
