Job Title:   Specialist Sales Engineering   Job Code: 42745 Job Location: On-Site in Loveland, CO Job Schedule: 9/80 Schedule (off every other Friday)     L3Harris WESCAM USA (WUSA) is looking for a Specialist, Sales Engineering (Senior Sensor Operator) located at the Wescam USA Air Operations facility in Loveland, Colorado.  The position will require at least 50% domestic travel, at least 10% international travel, and remaining work hours spent at the Air Operations office.  The position provides Sales Engineering support for the domestic and international L3Harris Wescam USA Sales and Business Development team.  This sales support role includes various functions such as business development and sales, current and potential sales support, communication with internal and external engineers, OEM personnel, vendors, and test directors.  This position will also provide onsite and remote customer product demonstrations, integration, and support in all phases of setup, testing, operation and teardown of WESCAM MX-series equipment on a range of aircraft, ground-tethered and ground and sea-based platforms. Additional duties may include MX Operator training to internal staff and external customers at worldwide locations, as well as providing primary support for the L3Harris Wescam USA Sales Support department and Wescam USA Air Operations.    The home location for this role will be at WUSA Air Operations facility in Loveland, Colorado, which supports special mission aircraft and hosts other unique customers each year for flight demonstrations, testing, developmental missions, and training. This role requires highly proficient MX airborne and ground-based operation with unmatched technical acuity, polished customer-forward communication and presentation skills, specialized systems-based integration and troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to work under limited supervision, while handling difficult situations efficiently and independently.    Essential Functions: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for these roles but does not restrict the multitude of tasks that may be assigned: Act as Sensor Operator Subject Matter Expert (SME) for MX system operation (ground, sea, airborne) and possible training of WESCAM MX series of products and integrated mission systems. Assist in the sales and bid activities that require responses for operations and integrated mission systems integrations. Design, develop, and implement operations and integrated mission systems for WESCAM customers and internal personnel. Event coordination, scheduling, and execution of WESCAM operations and integrated mission systems Sales Engineering support and training events. Work closely with external vendors in developing internal technical expertise for technical support of operations and integrated mission systems. Serve as a member of specialized technical support staff to provide input, direction, and training to Field Service Engineers and Customers. Assist in the development of best practices for the operations of WESCAM MX-series products and integrated mission systems.
