Standard Job Description You will be the Program Quality Engineering Manager for the Quality Program Team. Our team is responsible for implementing and executing quality requirements for PAC‑3 Missile Production.

As the Program Quality Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading the Quality Program Team to ensure rigorous quality standards throughout the PAC‑3 missile lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Lead Quality and Supplier Quality Engineers to support production across hardware, software, systems, and suppliers. - Drive monthly contractual commitments by solving high‑impact quality issues and managing corrective actions. - Conduct independent program reviews to assess risks and develop Return‑to‑Green plans. - Maintain DCMA/Customer quality relationships and establish effective Quality Program Team rhythms. - Develop strategic plans for team growth and champion process improvements across functional organizations. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical, Industrial, Quality‑Assurance or a related STEM discipline — or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant work experience Demonstrated ability to make data‑driven decisions, set priorities, and provide clear direction in a dynamic business environment Experience developing, implementing and measuring Quality Management systems or strategies that produced measurable improvements Proven experience presenting quality‑focused proposals or results to cross‑functional leadership groups, with documented adoption of the recommended solutions Desired Skills Strong customer‑focused mindset; ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders (customers, DCMA, other business units) to resolve problems and develop employee talent Experience creating, monitoring, and reporting executive‑level operations metrics (e.g., OEE, CPK, First‑Pass Yield) Expertise leading continuous‑process‑improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) and driving measurable results Hands‑on experience planning and executing Quality Engineering tools such as PPAP, APQP, and other product‑launch quality processes Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations that influence cross‑functional teams and deliver results Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
