This job requires coordination with customers, suppliers, test facilities, and other related fields including manufacturing, subcontracts, quality, structure design, analysis, systems engineering, and integration with affected subsystems and facilities.   The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines. Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or in a related technical discipline.  1+ year expereince in a professional work environment Mechanical CAD modeling and/or drafting design experience using CREO or similar software and releasing engineering through EPDM or other data management system. Understanding of mechanical and propulsion engineering principles and processes. Experience with basic drafting techniques and requirements. Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences. Desired Skills 
 Experience with aerospace manufacturing Experience with tolerance stack analysis Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 Hardware Design experience DFx Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
