Job Description
CDM Smith is looking for an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our Water Services Group team in Concord, CA! You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. Students will work closely with senior engineers to support the planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater facilities, primary and secondary wastewater processes, solids treatment facilities, and conveyance and distribution systems. They will assist in master planning, research, conceptual design, and plant hydraulics. They will review draft designs and reports for compliance with state and local regulations and design requirements. They will evaluate data to determine usability for analyses and modeling and analyze that data for trends in water use, water quality, or operations. Students will also assist in developing documents and presentations to disseminate study information. May assist with fieldwork to collect environmental and facilities data. This role requires strong communication and teamwork with staff in our local and regional offices and various engineering disciplines in other offices. You'll have the opportunity to learn every day from our highly-skilled technical staff and project managers .
Qualifications
Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelors in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.
