Working with clients across all industries, you’ll build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and develop a portfolio of projects by focusing on high value opportunities in complex forensic accounting analysis and dispute related engagements. You will work alongside an experienced leadership group that is focused on driving growth in the market. EY’s FIS professionals help organisations protect and restore enterprise and financial reputation. We assist organisations to investigate facts, resolve disputes and manage regulatory challenges, ethical and reputational risks.  You will be part of a multi-disciplinary Oceania FIS team including accountants, risk managers, technology specialists and former regulatory and law enforcement professionals. This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.   Your key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a range of forensic accounting and disputes engagements, including investigations, commercial disputes, post-acquisition disputes, and independent expert matters. Perform and oversee financial analysis, document reviews, and reporting activities. Work closely with clients to understand complex forensic accounting issues and deliver high-quality outcomes. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, legal advisers, insurers, and internal senior leaders. Prepare and review forensic accounting, investigation, dispute-related, and expert witness reports. Support, coach, and develop team members while contributing to the growth and success of the Forensics & Integrity Services team

Skills and attributes for success

CA ANZ (or equivalent) qualification. Experience in forensic accounting, external audit, disputes, investigations, or a related field. Demonstrated experience working within a professional services environment. Strong client service skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted stakeholder relationships. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to navigate changing priorities and manage competing demands. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with financial analysis and financial modelling. Experience leading or mentoring team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
