Senior Solutions Architect, AGS-NOLA-SA BOPE

AWS is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Lima-Peru, working with enterprise customers across the full breadth of their cloud journey. You'll help customers migrate to the cloud, modernize legacy applications and databases, build cloud-native solutions, and explore how Generative AI and Agentic AI can drive their business forward. You'll partner hands-on with customers, turning ideas into working prototypes and production-ready architectures. Key job responsibilities - Partner with enterprise customers to design, build, and implement solutions across cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and new workloads - Work hands-on with customer teams — building prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-ready architectures together - Assess legacy applications and databases, and co-create practical modernization roadmaps that reduce technical debt and enable innovation - Guide customers through cloud migrations — helping them move workloads efficiently and securely - Help customers explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance their applications, operations, and customer experiences A day in the life You might start your morning reviewing a customer's existing architecture ahead of a design workshop, then jump into a whiteboarding session where you collaborate with their engineering team to map out a migration path. After lunch you could be building a working prototype that demonstrates how a serverless approach simplifies their current workflow. Later, you share findings with your SA peers, exchange ideas on a tricky modernization pattern, and wrap up by preparing a brief for a customer executive on the business impact of the proposed solution.
