THE JOB We are seeking a Sr. Accountant II for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. Position is a blend of transactional and intermediate to advanced level Accounting. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask and strong knowledge of basic accounting. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Perform month-end close tasks including preparation of general ledger entries and analysis as assigned. Review period close submissions and assist in month/quarter end reporting package consolidation Perform detail reviews of regional and/or divisional balance sheets and bank reconciliations ensuring timely completion and documentation of issues identified and resolved. Complete divisional balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations as assigned by management. Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures / policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Maintain, control and reconcile accounts that are moderate to very complex in nature. Assist divisional management team in completing corporate or executive management ad hoc requests. Assist with special projects as assigned. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA preferred 5-7 years’ comparable work experience Strong accounting experience.
