Ideal candidates are curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn—actively   seeking out   opportunities rather than waiting for direction. Candidates should be open to both giving and receiving constructive feedback, as well as recognizing and sharing positive feedback to foster a supportive and growth-oriented team environment.    Negotiation ability: Use   appropriate interpersonal   skills and communication methods to   establish   effective relationships with third parties, including government agencies, landowners, and partner company representatives to negotiate the agreements and documentation necessary for oil and gas development .     Planning and organizational ability:   Demonstrate   the ability to set priorities and guide yourself and others to ensure   timely   and efficient completion of work.    Team-oriented mindset: Collaborate effectively within team settings and contribute to cross-functional initiatives to address business challenges.    Contract interpretation, drafting, and problem solving: Review third-party contracts to ensure they align with company standards, and draft agreements that effectively support business   objectives   while   remaining   acceptable to external stakeholders.   Analyze complex title opinions and chain-of-title documents to determine appropriate next steps.   Ability to   demonstrate   The Chevron Way .

Compensation & Benefits

The   anticipated   salary range for this position   depends on the role .   The selected candidate’s monthly or hourly compensation will be   determined   based on their   selected role , degree   level   and academic   year.   As an intern, you will receive the following benefits:   Furnished   housing   (for interns)   Participation in   Employee   S avings   Investment P lan   with immediate vesting   in   both employee and company contributions.   Chevron matching contributions:   4%
