Kyndryl is on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Software Engineer who is passionate about delivering top-notch cloud-based managed services to our clients. As a QA Software Engineer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.  We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Functional Tester responsible for validating business and functional requirements, developing test scenarios and test cases, executing functional testing, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with HP ALM and Xray (JIRA) for test management, defect tracking, and reporting within Agile and Waterfall environments.

Functional Testing Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to understand application functionality. Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements. Execute functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities. Validate end-to-end business processes across multiple applications and interfaces. Identify, document, track, and retest defects to closure. Test Management Create and manage test artifacts within HP ALM and Xray . Maintain test plans, test suites, traceability matrices, and execution reports. Track test execution progress and provide status reports to stakeholders. Ensure complete requirement-to-test-case traceability. Defect Management Log, monitor, and track defects using HP ALM, JIRA, or other defect management tools. Collaborate with development teams to analyze, reproduce, and resolve issues. Participate in defect triage meetings and support root cause analysis. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and Solution Architects. Participate in requirement reviews, sprint ceremonies, and test planning sessions. Support UAT activities and provide testing sign-off recommendations. Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and quality processes.
