Job Overview
This position is a senior electronics development role within the Product Development Engineering team. The engineer (m/f/d) develops and validates analog, digital, power and high-voltage electronics, power and control PCBs, and microcontroller-based products from concept through production release. Small embedded programming tasks complement the electronics scope where needed for product functions, hardware bring-up, diagnostics or interfaces. The role also provides the system-level overview required to integrate complex electronic products safely and reliably into their application environment. Job Requirements
Electronics & PCB Development - Primary Focus
Develop analog, digital and power-electronic circuits as well as power and control PCB solutions for intelligent electronic products Derive electronics and hardware requirements from customer, product and system requirements and translate them into robust circuit concepts Create and maintain schematics and PCB designs, preferably using Altium Designer, including component selection, calculations, interface definitions and design documentation Develop and integrate power stages, sensing, protection, diagnostics, communication interfaces and microcontroller peripherals Design and review PCB layouts with focus on high-current paths, current density, thermal behavior, EMC/EMI, creepage and clearance, insulation coordination and design robustness Develop electronics and PCB solutions for low-voltage and high-voltage applications, including switching, protection, monitoring and controlled discharge functions Perform circuit and thermal simulations using suitable tools such as LTspice and execute initial commissioning, laboratory measurements, design verification and root-cause analysis Coordinate prototype fabrication, component qualification, supplier clarification, validation, design for manufacturing, test concepts, production introduction and technical release
Small Embedded Programming Tasks - Secondary Scope
Implement small and clearly bounded embedded functions in C where directly connected to the electronic product Typical examples include simple device-control or diagnostic logic, hardware bring-up support, communication handling, measurement functions or a small standalone firmware project Adapt microcontroller configuration,
