AECOM is seeking an Associate Director – Development Infrastructure (Civil Engineering) to help lead our established and high-performing Development Infrastructure team. This is a senior role combining technical leadership, project delivery, business development, and team growth. Our Development Infrastructure team provides civil engineering services across Ireland and the U.K., supporting developers, housebuilders, local authorities, and major clients. We work across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction, covering drainage, highways, flood risk, water infrastructure, and SuDS. The team values practical engineering, collaboration, and mentoring, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, buildable solutions. Here’s what you’ll do: Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers working on development infrastructure projects. Play a key role in winning work and building long-term client relationships. Maintain technical quality and commercial performance across a range of projects. Work closely with colleagues across AECOM’s wider multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Requirements: Chartered Civil Engineer (or equivalent) with experience in a senior or leadership role. Strong background delivering development infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients. Someone who enjoys building teams, supporting junior engineers, and taking ownership of work.
