Job Summary The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for performing routine and non-routine quality control activities to ensure compliance with established quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory expectations. The role supports the effective implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) through analytical testing, microbiological analysis, product inspection, data evaluation, and continuous monitoring of manufacturing processes. As a QC Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Quality Control Testing & Analysis Perform chemical and analytical testing of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products, including moisture, salt content, refractive index, density, acidity, and other quality parameters. Conduct microbiological analyses, including Total Plate Count, Yeast & Mold enumeration, Coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus detection in accordance with approved methods. Prepare microbiological media, chemical reagents, and laboratory solutions required for testing activities. Conduct sensory evaluations to verify compliance with product specifications. Inspection & Monitoring Perform inspections, sampling, testing, and verification activities throughout the manufacturing process in accordance with approved SOPs. Collect and prepare samples of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods for analysis and re-analysis when required. Monitor process controls and quality indicators to ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. Equipment & Laboratory Management Perform routine calibration, verification, and maintenance checks on laboratory equipment and measuring instruments. Ensure laboratory activities are conducted in compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality requirements. Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements. Quality Systems & Compliance Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP programs, hygiene standards, validation, and verification activities. Ensure all testing activities, records, and reports comply with applicable quality standards and accreditation requirements. Partner with Production and Warehouse teams to implement quality standards and corrective actions. Investigation & Continuous Improvement Record, analyze, and communicate test results, non-conformances, and out-of-specification findings. Participate in investigations related to customer complaints, quality incidents, deviations, and non-conformances. Conduct root cause analysis and support CAPA implementation. Analyze quality data and prepare reports to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives. What Makes You the Right Fit? Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline. 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Control within the Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or related
