Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal/Senior Principal Test Conductor-FTO Aircraft Ship-Side Support Team to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. In this role, the selected candidate will be a member of a team of aircraft ship-side support engineers and test conductors. This team is responsible for coordination between the Flight Test maintenance organization and the Flight Test engineering organization. Tasking will include initial troubleshooting support, procedure development and re-test procedure development. Successful candidate will coordinate support between maintenance leadership team and engineering leadership team. Additionally successful candidate will be responsible for general aircraft knowledge training for new engineering staff to include flight test and ground test engineers. Successful candidate will be responsible for the adjudication of desired maintenance procedures and delayed actions. Candidate will be a self-starter that needs little to no direction from leadership to operate in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This position is 100% located at Edwards AFB, CA for weekday 4/10 (Mon-Thur) second shift. This requisition may be filled at either a Principal or a Sr. Principal level. Basic Qualifications for Principal Test Conductor: • Must have a High School Diploma and 9 years of related professional/military experience, OR Bachelor degree AND 5 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master's degree AND 3 years of related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 1 year of related professional/military experience. • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment. • Must be willing and able to work 4/10 2nd shift Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Test Conductor : • Must have a High School Diploma and 12 years of related professional/military experience, OR Bachelor degree AND 8 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master's degree AND 6 years of related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 4 year of related professional/military experience. • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. • Must be willing and able to work 4/10 2nd Shift.
