Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Cabin System Retrofit Solution Engineer (f/m) to join our Cabin Retrofit Solution Department based in Toulouse, France You will be part of a team developing engineering cabin modification/upgrades on French perimeter for Airbus commercial aircraft, after aircraft delivery. As part of the Cabin Toulouse Team, you will be involved in validating technical solutions & associated documentation by identifying, proposing and supporting new Retrofit adaptations aiming at securing On Time and On Quality the delivery of Service Bulletin (SB) and Kits on simple or complex cabin reconfiguration projects. Your challenges: During Acquisition phase : In the context of optional modification requested by Customers after aircraft delivery, on demand, you may support the pull of experienced people who will manage to analyse the Technical Offers, by investigating & searching engineering solutions on your area of expertise After customer acceptance : Once the offer is accepted, you are contributing to cabin conversions projects for which you are accountable for engineering activities during the production phase. Following the serial line work sharing between France & Germany, you are responsible to manage French activities for cabin conversions as follow: Contributing to the technical scope & validating the detailed planning for our French perimeter Being the engineering responsible for your French portion of cabin contributions in front of all stakeholders (Mod Proposal dossier, engineering drawing, List Of Component (LOC) & SB drawing set) Ensuring project management of your contribution deliverables (including LLI & LOCs) Elaborating SB preparation activities for your perimeter (internal or external preparation/authoring) depending on the Make or Buy Policy Filling in the MP intent instruction (MP dossier for CTK Mod) for the engineering portion you are responsible for Elaborating the list of impacts and the Interface table from the Technical Offer (TO) + pre/post cabin layout for the work package you are responsible for Analysing & validating PRE/POST design solutions for the “Repère Fonctionnel” (RF/CI) your are responsible for Creating & validating engineering & design activities following the release process (based on your technical delegations) Maintaining the planning up to date for all activities under your responsibility Identifying “Long Lead Item” (LLI) parts for early ordering and the final List Of Components (LOC), to be in line with the kit delivery Target Date (TD) following the “E1 to
