About this role
NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. Today, we are tapping into the potential of AI to define the next era of computing. As an NVIDIAN, you will work in a collaborative environment where people learn, contribute, and build technology that has a lasting impact. NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists (NVIS) supports the deployment and operation of AI Factory and enterprise data centers. We are seeking new college graduates who are eager to develop hands-on Ethernet networking skills while contributing to customer deployments. You will learn alongside experienced solutions architects and network engineers, working with modern compute, storage, and network platforms. This role is part of the NCG development program and represents multiple openings. You will build confidence in deploying and validating data center Ethernet networks, communicate progress and findings clearly, and contribute to reliable customer outcomes. With mentoring, practical experience, and feedback, you will grow toward an independent technical role within NVIS or the broader NVIDIA organization. What you’ll be doing: Support the architecture design, implementation, and validation of Ethernet or InfiniBand networks for AI Factory and enterprise data center deployments. Work with cross-functional teams to prepare sites, bring up network infrastructure, validate connectivity, and document results. Assist with switch configuration, cabling validation, network troubleshooting, and issue resolution under the guidance of experienced engineers. Learn and apply networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and data center network architecture. Contribute to repeatable deployment practices through documentation, automation, and knowledge sharing. Participate in the NCG development program, which may include rotations across deployment, operations, validation, or related teams. What we need to see: BS.c, or MS.c, in Computer Science, Computer Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, Data Science, or related technical fields or equivalent experience Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools Foundational knowledge of Ethernet networking and the TCP/IP stack, gained through coursework, labs, projects, internships, or equivalent experience. Evidence of structured troubleshooting and attention to detail, such as diagnosing a technical issue, documenting findings, and testing a solution. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully across teams and geographies. Ability to work independently and with multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies Able to prioritize work, adapt to changing deployment needs, and communicate progress clearly. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Hands-on experience with Ethernet switches, lab networks, VLANs, routing, or network simulation tools. Exposure to data center infrastructure, server hardware, cabling, storage, or systems administration. Coursework or projects involving Linux networking, Python, shell scripting, or network automation. Familiarity with Cumulus Linux, VXLAN-EVPN, Ansible, or related automation and network-operations tools. Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent learning achievements. NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability during the application process, please let us know.
