To continue the expansion of our Financial Services practice, we are currently looking to recruit a Senior Consultant FAAS Valuation (Real Estate) - September 2026.
Your key responsibilities As a Senior Consultant – FAAS Valuation (Real Estate), you will perform and carry out valuation analyses and reviews of real estate assets and portfolios in the context of financial reporting and assurance engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing valuation analyses and review of real estate assets, assessing the reasonableness of valuations and financial models Developing independent valuation perspectives and benchmarking analyses based on market data and appropriate methodologies Leading, coordinating, and developing a team of Assistants, ensuring effective execution of engagements Building and maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel and assessing client satisfaction Applying a strong understanding of valuation concepts to real-world real estate scenarios Coordinating fieldwork and collaborating with audit teams and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of engagements Contributing to the delivery of valuation processes, solutions, and projects by applying judgement and selecting appropriate methodologies Taking responsibility for meeting personal and team performance targets and supporting junior team members Ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with risk management requirements, and adherence to EY standards Identifying risks and opportunities, enhancing client trust, and contributing to business development and team growth
Skills and attributes for success
2-3+ years of relevant experience in real estate valuation and valuation advisory Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of valuation principles and techniques (income, market approach) with regards to real estate valuation A university degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field Familiarity with financial reporting frameworks (IFRS), RICS valuation guideline, IVS, INREV guideline Perfect command of English, both written and verbally, within a professional services business environment
PC proficiency including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ideally, you will also have:
A university degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldFamiliarity with financial reporting frameworks (IFRS), RICS valuation guideline, IVS, INREV guidelinePerfect command of English, both written and verbally, within a professional services business environment Experience in valuation support within audit / Valuation in Assurance Exposure to European real estate markets Progress toward or completion of a professional qualification (e.g., RICS
