The Onsite Service Account Manager serves as a key liaison for members, customers, and providers by delivering expert guidance on UnitedHealthcare benefits, resolving claims and service inquiries, and supporting wellness initiatives at the worksite. This position is full time (40 hours per week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours from 8:00am - 5:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The training will be ongoing mentorship after 4 weeks Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers and / or providers Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first level response and resolution of escalated issues with external and internal customers Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment Investigate claim and / or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities Work as a member of the client's Benefits Team You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience Must be 18 years of age OR older 4+ years of direct client facing customer service experience and/or account management experience Experience with Medical Insurance Terminology Knowledge and understanding of claims processing Experience with communicating complex problem-solving scenarios with a client and internal stakeholder Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, sorting and data entry), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Microsoft PowerPoint (basic presentations) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar) Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the Pasco County School District Must live within 20 miles of Tampa FL Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime Preferred Qualifications: ISET Claims Systems experience UNET Based Programs Experience CES, TOPS Experience in Claims Payments, Claims Adjustments, or Enrollments Soft Skills: Ability to multi-task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product Effective Written and Verbal Communication skills Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
