About this role

Agency: Weber Shandwick Job Function: Communications and PR Job Subfunction: Public Relations Job Description: At Weber Shandwick, we help some of the world’s leading organizations navigate complexity, build trust, and lead through moments that matter. As demand for strategic counsel continues to grow amid geopolitical volatility, macroeconomic uncertainty, stakeholder scrutiny, and the rapid transformation driven by AI, our Advisory offering has become one of the fastest-growing areas of our business. The Central Region—spanning Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Minneapolis, and St. Louis—is the second largest P+L in North America and has experienced significant growth over the past several years. We are continuing to invest aggressively in the future of the practice and are seeking an entrepreneurial, growth-minded leader to help shape what comes next.

About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Vice President, Corporate Advisory to lead and expand our Advisory practice across the Central Region. This is a newly created leadership role designed for a true builder and change agent—someone energized by the opportunity to grow a business, counsel senior executives through complex challenges, and help define the future of modern corporate advisory. This role reports directly to the Central Region President and will play a critical leadership role both within the region and as part of the extended North America Advisory leadership team. The EVP will help advance core specialties including Corporate Reputation, Corporate Storytelling, CEO Advisory, Executive Positioning, and the integration of AI-enabled solutions across our client portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strategic counselor with strong business instincts, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for helping organizations and leaders navigate high-stakes environments. They will thrive in ambiguity, make smart decisions with imperfect information, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset to building and scaling teams, client relationships, and innovative offerings. Equally important, this leader will be deeply invested in culture—someone who values collaboration, mentorship, and excellence, and who is committed to nurturing a high-performing, supportive environment for both clients and colleagues.
