Overview: Based in Philadelphia, USA, and reporting to the Global Category Manager, Commodities & Functional Additives, this role is a key position within FMC's Global Procurement organization. Working closely with category leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in designing and translating sourcing strategies into actionable initiatives, delivering measurable value across FMC's global operations. As FMC continues to optimize its global supply network, strengthen supplier partnerships and enhance procurement capabilities, the Global Sourcing Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, competitiveness and sustainability of strategically important raw materials across our global manufacturing footprint. One of the unique aspects of this opportunity is the ability to make a visible impact from day one. Working within a lean and highly engaged team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence sourcing decisions and drive execution of key procurement initiatives, drive meaningful improvements and contribute to the continuous development of sourcing practices within the Procurement organization.  With a dynamic pace, direct collaboration, and high visibility among procurement leadership and business stakeholders, this role is ideally suited for professionals who are energized by change, continuous improvement, and creating tangible business value. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of global sourcing activities and supporting the management of Solvents, Surfactants, Sugars and Starches subcategories, delivering towards both business continuity and long-term value creation. The role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to influence stakeholders in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, R&D and finance.
