About this role
We're looking for an attorney to support Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technology organization, which tackles complex supply-chain challenges at Amazon scale — inventing and deploying technology to power Amazon's end-to-end consumer supply chain. Partnering with the entire team, leadership from across Amazon, and other colleagues and stakeholders, you'll provide guidance on a wide range of matters, such as: -new program and product launches; -intellectual property and licensing; -data privacy and security; -commercial agreements and supplier relationships; and -compliance with existing and new legal requirements around the world, including company-wide strategic priorities. At the same time, you'll have opportunities to reinvent and improve the way the legal team delivers results for both our direct clients and the rest of Amazon's consumer organization. Key job responsibilities -Product counsel: advise on a range of legal matters as the primary legal partner to a supply chain software builder team -Competition and privacy counsel: provide forward-looking, strategic competition and data privacy guidance across systems that operate at significant data scale, including regulatory compliance across regions. -Responsible AI: Support the development and deployment of both internal and external AI tools. A day in the life You will be the primary legal partner to a technology organization that automates and optimizes Amazon's global supply chain for physical goods. The teams you support build software spanning the entire retail supply chain, and you will strategically partner to understand their goals and unblock progress, advising on new systems and helping business teams understand what evolving legal requirements mean for the way they build. You will partner closely with privacy, competition, and AI specialists and with legal teams across the consumer organization, and act as a bridge that helps technical teams understand their legal obligations.
About the team
We are a collaborative, forward-thinking legal team committed to supporting several WW Stores and Operations business teams and Amazon’s shared services. We value intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking in the face of ambiguity, and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes with agility and precision.
