Job Function / Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of vehicle configuration and performance models for heavy-duty vehicle applications. Own system-level design decisions and provide technical direction for implementation activities across vehicle configuration and performance modelling solutions. Provide technical leadership to implementation engineers through design reviews, solution guidance, and validation of engineering deliverables. Define modelling approaches, engineering methodologies, and technical standards to ensure consistency and quality across vehicle configuration solutions. Perform vehicle performance analysis and simulations to evaluate design feasibility, compliance, customer requirements, and support engineering decision-making. Define and maintain calculation logic supporting vehicle configuration and performance assessments. Influence design and product decisions through analysis, recommendations, and stakeholder collaboration. Work closely with Engineering, Testing, Quality, Sales, and Product teams to drive successful outcomes. Lead validation activities and ensure solutions meet quality and functional expectations. Review vehicle performance data and identify opportunities for improvement. Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and engineering practices. Maintain technical documentation and design records. Support Sales and Product teams by translating technical requirements into customer-focused vehicle solutions.
Qualification
Master’s or Bachelor’s degrees in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
