About this role
As the Senior Supply Service Planner, you’ll be part of our product development team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to: Place purchase orders and manage vendor supplies to maintain inventory levels, meet back-order targets, and fulfil daily operational requirements. Perform serviceability reviews and place last time buy orders where needed. Daily follow up with vendors to manage backlog, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient communication for smooth operations. Review and identify potential risks related to excess inventory and take immediate action, including de-expediting, to maintain optimal inventory levels. Coordinate inventory transfers between distribution centers to meet demand and operational requirements. Challenge forecast inconsistencies, review over/under selling items on regular bases, Participate in S&OP reviews across relevant markets & regions to improve forecast accuracy. Maintain and update systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy for inventory and supply chain operations. Maintain planning parameters/Master Data: SKU status, safety stock, MOQ & vendor lead time. Assess Vendor performances, proactively resolving issues, and identifying areas for improvement in coordination with the vendor and product managers. Collaborate with vendors and product managers and the technical service team to facilitate the smooth launch of new parts into the supply chain.
