 Position Overview:   Insulet   Corporation, maker of the   OmniPod , is the leader in tubeless insulin   pump , transforming the lives of people with diabetes through innovation .   We are seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead our Data Engineering Platform team in building and   maintaining   the world class Data and AI pla t form.   Join a fast-paced, mission-driven medical device company where data plays a critical role in improving patient outcomes and operational excellence.    As   a    Sr   Manager ,   Data Engineer   Operations ,   you’ll   lead a team of talented data   and platform   engineers responsible for designing,   building   and delivering secure, scalable data platform serving directly to our internal and external stakeholders in Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Product   launches   and several other initiatives.   We are   seeking   a highly technical, hands- on   to serve as the principal owner and administrator of our enterprise   Data Platform . In this role, you will lead the operational health, security, governance, and delivery pipelines of our Databricks environments.   You will be   directly responsible   for designing and enforcing security controls (RBAC/ABAC),   establishing   mature data governance frameworks utilizing Databricks   Unity Catalog , automating workspace deployment, and instilling   DevSecOps   practices through robust CI/CD pipelines .   You’ll   be a key contributor   organizing and helping the team with managing the backlog of work items building in collaboration with technical leads and stakeholders for our   Databricks-based data infrastructure, ensuring it meets the rigorous standards of the medical device industry. If   you're   looking for a role where your work truly matters—and where   you’ll   grow alongside a team of talented engineers and healthcare professionals—this is the place for you.     Responsibilities :   Platform Governance & Unity Catalog   Management:   Own the architecture, deployment, and daily management of Databricks   Unity Catalog   across dev, test, and production environments.   Define and enforce catalog structures, schemas, external locations, storage credentials, and metadata tagging standards.   Security & Access Control (RBAC/ABAC ):   Design and implement fine-grained access control policies using Role-Based Access Control ( RBAC ) and Attribute-Based Access Control ( ABAC ).   Manage service principals, identity federation (IdP), system privileges, and secure   secrets   management via cloud Key Vaults integrated into Databricks secret scopes.   Workspace & Infrastructure   Automation:   Oversee multi-workspace administration, including cluster policies, compute governance, runtime versions, and SQL Warehouses.   Provision and scale workspaces programmatically using Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) tools like   Terraform .   CI/CD &   DevSecOps   Lifecycle:   Build,   optimize , and
