About this role
Who We Are
Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, privacy-sensitive AI-powered platform that includes solutions for video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management.
We’ve got serious momentum in the market: more than 30,000 customers (including 100+ of the Fortune 500), a $5.8B valuation, more than $1 billion in annualized bookings, and backing from CapitalG, Sequoia Capital, General Catalyst, Felicis Ventures, Next47 and more. Physical AI is one of the most consequential technology shifts of our time, and Verkada is at the center of it.
You can look at all kinds of communities to see our platform’s impact in the world. It's the retailer that uses our agentic AI to deter theft before it happens. The warehouse that uses AI-powered alerts to make sure its team is protected on the floor with proper PPE. The school that’s alerted to a threat in real-time and triggers a lockdown in seconds, not minutes. We’re rapidly scaling this impact: today, more than 2 million Verkada devices are deployed across 170+ countries.
About the Role
As a Continuous Enablement Architect on the Solutions Engineering (SE) Enablement team, you will drive post-onboarding technical mastery, continuous learning, and field readiness across Verkada’s global Sales Engineering organization. In this role, you will serve as the primary bridge between Product Management and the field, designing rigorous technical certifications and maintaining hands-on lab environments that empower SEs to effectively demonstrate Verkada’s unified physical security platform.
What You'll Do
• Product Management Collaboration & NPI: Build deep partnerships with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) enablement strategies. Translate product roadmaps, beta releases, and technical feature updates into actionable field messaging, technical guides, and demo workflows before launch.
• SE Certification Programs: Design, implement, and govern multi-tiered technical certification frameworks for the global SE team. Develop hands-on practical exams, live troubleshooting scenarios, and technical assessments to validate field competency across Verkada’s core platform (Command, Cameras, Access Control, Environmental Sensors, Alarms, Workplace, and Intercom).
• Continuous Technical Learning: Design and execute ongoing enablement initiatives, recurring technical deep-dives, competitive differentiation workshops, and advanced skill-refresher programs to maintain field excellence as the platform rapidly evolves.
• Enablement Analytics & Impact Measurement: Establish metrics to track the effectiveness of enablement programs, such as correlation between certification scores, demo performance, and sales win rates. Regularly report on field readiness gaps and program ROI to leadership.
• Field Feedback Loop Optimization: Serve as the structured voice-of-the-customer (VoC) for the SE team by gathering, synthesizing, and reporting field-based product feedback and common customer objections back to Product Management and Engineering, ensuring that field insights influence the product roadmap.
• Scalable Enablement Content Strategy: Partner with the Content Management Lead to ensure the "single source of truth" repository for technical enablement assets (documentation, video training, demo scripts) remains accurate and up-to-date, providing them with the necessary technical insights and validation to keep content aligned with product releases and prevent stale information from
