Role definition: Provide guidance, coaching, and strategic direction to hourly, salaried, and management employees involved in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and compliance within a small to medium-sized facility.
Responsibilities
Recognizes potential environmental, health, and safety risks within organizational operations and implements preventive measures and guidelines to mitigate those risks. Coordinates and ensures completion of EHS training programs to meet regulatory requirements and support facility, business unit, and organizational goals. Conducts audits and evaluations of EHS programs to verify compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and site-specific operational needs. Reviews and analyzes EHS performance metrics to identify trends, proactively communicate concerns to management, and recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Degree Requirement : Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Safety Engineering, or a related field.
