About this role
The Spot Risk Weighted Asset “RWA” Calculation and Reporting role is an analyst position. The individual will support the production needs and milestones under the Capital Calculation and Reporting team, which will be responsible for the firm and bank’s RWA calculation and reporting. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directly with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Enterprise Technology, & Operations.
Responsibilities
Support direct manager for the analysis and submission of reports for Basel RWA Reporting based on US Regulatory requirements. Support subject matter experts on the team to ensure that Basel rules are adhered to for business initiatives, new product offerings and for changes in Basel requirements. Learn industry specific knowledge and use critical thinking skills to ensure stability of process. Support team lead to perform analysis of the RWA results; support respond to regulatory requests and line of business queries. Support direct manager in working with key business and technology and operations personnel to address delivery and execution obstacles and to ensure throughput and process execution is optimized. Utilize adopted frameworks, methodologies and tools aligned to the strategy of the group in production of the RWA results. Support the execution and documentation of the controls used in the RWA analysis.
Qualifications
5-10+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting. Basic knowledge & understanding of Basel RWA calculations and reporting. Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information. Strong communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change. Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them. Strategic mindset, ability to plan ahead to future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies. Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team. Work Timing: 1pm to 1pm IST.
Education
