Product Specialist - Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) (m/f/d)

VWR, part of Avantor is looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Product Specialist to join our team in Oslo . You will be responsible for direct sales and marketing of personal protection equipment and control environment services to VWR’s customers in the private and public life science sectors across Norway. You will manage and grow relationships with existing customers while actively building new customer partnerships. The role is offered on a full time and permanent basis. The position is hybrid and it is based at VWR’s headquarters in Oslo, where you will become part of a highly skilled and collaborative team. In this role, you will work closely with customers across Norway, with regular customer visits and travel required. What we’re looking for Education : Bachelor’s degree in a Chemistry related field or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience is required. Experience : Previous sales experience is required. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Norwegian and English You have good IT skills, quickly adapt to new systems, and are proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with CRM and ERP systems is an advantage. Valid driver’s license B is required Outgoing and comfortable working independently and as part of a team Results oriented and structured   How you will thrive and make an impact Sell the product portfolio and branded products for Personal protection equipment and control environment services Initiate sales related activities through advisory, product demos and client visits and active participation at events like trade fairs, seminars and courses Maintaining the relationships with existing suppliers and developing partnerships with new customers Budgeting in collaboration with manager to secure the achievement of personal sales targets Close collaboration with suppliers on pricing and product related questions to provide the best possible solution to the customers Close collaboration with the local Sales team by providing support and guidance   What VWR Offers An exciting position with Europe's leading distributor of products for laboratories.
