Caterpillar offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and build key commercial competencies in sales, marketing, business analytics, customer engagement, and strategy. Interns will support initiatives that help Caterpillar and its dealers better understand customer needs, identify market opportunities, and deliver solutions that drive business growth.   Working within Customer Solutions Core Regions or Cat Rental & Used, interns will assist with projects related to customer insights, market analysis, dealer development, rental and used equipment growth strategies, commercial performance, and business planning. This role provides exposure to a dynamic commercial environment while contributing to initiatives that enhance customer success and business outcomes.

Responsibilities may include:   Analyze business, customer, market, and operational data to identify trends and business opportunities.   Support the development of reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.   Assist with market research, customer insights activities, and Voice of Customer initiatives.   Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, customer engagement programs, events, and communication strategies.   Support commercial projects and strategic initiatives through research, analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.   Collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, business development, and customer solutions to help drive business growth.   Assist in developing and improving processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.   Present findings and recommendations to business leaders and project teams.    What You Have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.   Excellent communication and presentation skills.   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.   Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.   Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills.   Adaptability, curiosity, and willingness to learn.   Demonstrated initiative through academic projects, extracurricular activities, student organizations, or previous work experience.     What will be a plus: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar business tools.   Knowledge of data analytics, digital marketing, or project management principles.   Familiarity with AI productivity tools.   Additional European language skills.   Previous internship, professional, or project experience in business, marketing, sales, analytics, engineering, or a related field.   What You W ill Get:   Build foundational knowledge of Caterpillar's products, services, customers, dealer network, and commercial operations.   D e velop commercial, analytical, and leadership skills .   Gain hands-on experience working on real business challenges.   Expand your professional network through mentorship and collaboration.   Work alongside experienced professionals in a global organization.   Enhance your career readiness through training and development opportunities.   EAME Commercial Internship Program Benefits:   Comprehensive onboarding and orientation   Mentorship opportunities   Networking with leaders and professionals   Professional development
