Production Team Member - Drayton Valley

Members at our Drayton Valley, AB Sawmill for immediate vacancies. We are seeking individuals committed to safety and that have a desire to work in a manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic. The starting pay for this position is $28.50/hr. and will increase to $ 34.449056/h r. after successful completion of the probationary period. Key Functions: - Total commitment to working safely, following all safety rules and company policies and procedures. - Responsible for daily operation of manufacturing equipment that produces lumber. - Safely perform regular preventive maintenance and clean up on equipment. - Work effectively in a team environment. - Problem solve and troubleshoot equipment and issues on a regular basis. - Involved in ongoing process improvement in the work area. - Safely perform quality checks and ensures production of a quality product. - May operate forklifts and other mobile equipment to manage product flow. - Complete shift paperwork and recordkeeping. - Attend team meetings and regular training sessions.
