Firmware Engineer Co-Op

Are you an engineering student who enjoys solving complex technical challenges? Join Emerson's New Product Development (NPD) team in Marshalltown, Iowa and help create the next generation of intelligent electric actuators used in critical industrial infrastructure around the world.

As a Firmware Engineer Co-op, you'll work alongside experienced firmware, electrical, and mechanical engineers to develop embedded software, automate development workflows, support hardware bring-up activities, and assist in building products from concept through validation. This role provides hands-on experience with both embedded firmware development and the tools, processes, and infrastructure that enable high-quality software delivery.
